Edgar Quilabert is a PhD candidate in Sociology and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theories of Education and Social Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where he teaches Comparative Education in undergraduate courses. His main research interests include global education policies, education governance, privatization of education, public-private partnerships in education and educational inequalities. His work within the REFORMED project focuses on the enactment of school autonomy with accountability and its relationship with educational innovations in Catalonia.
