Laura
Mentini

Laura is a Master’s student of GLOBED Joint Master Degree in Education Policies for Global development, from the Universitat Autonòma de Barcelona, the University of Amsterdam and the University of Malta. She holds a Bsc. Degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan and has previously been working as a consultant in the Resource Mobilization and Statistics departments of FAO (UN). She has also collaborated with local NGOs in Portugal and in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supporting local participatory development in vulnerable contexts. Mentini has been an intern in ReformEd since March 2017, responsible for the survey module on Leadership, the literature review on Principal’s role in Accountability regimes and supporting the data collection for the case of Brazil. Her final Master’s research project focuses on the role of school leadership in mediating School Autonomy with Accountability reforms in Minas Gerais (Brazil).
